Dr. Roya worked as a university professor for 15 years at Qazvin University of Medical Sciences, where she taught orthodontics to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She also held multiple different executive roles, such as Dean Associate in Education, Orthodontic Department Head, and Research Centre Head, which led to publishing multiple papers in local and international journals.
Dr. Roya did the one-year orthodontic gap training course at the University of Alberta in 2017.Passing the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) exam in 2019, she has been practicing as a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics.
Apart from her career as an orthodontist, Dr. Roya is a mom to three children. She enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her family.
